Our goal in Year 6 is to prepare our students for Year 7. We do this by increasing the number of specialist teachers and giving students increased exposure to, and usage of, specialist facilities.
Subjects for Year 6 students include:
- Art
- Computer Studies
- Drama
- English
- HSIE
- Jewish Studies and Ivrit
- Mathematics
- Music
- PDHPE
- Science
- Skills
Year 6 students have a generalist class teacher for their English, Mathematics, Computer Studies, HSIE and Skills lessons. Science is team-taught by the class teacher and a Science Specialist in a Science laboratory. The students have specialist teachers for PDHPE, Visual Arts, Music and Drama.
