All Moriah Primary School students are encouraged to develop a love of Sport and a healthy attitude towards physical activity and fitness.
The emphasis is always on participation and students are rewarded for 'having a go' and striving towards their personal best.
Sport and PE lessons are incorporated into the curriculum for all students in Years K-6 and during the year, several House-based Sports Carnivals are held, encouraging House spirit and a sense of achievement.
A wide range of before-school and lunchtime co-curricular Sports are on offer for students who show an interest or talent for particular sports including: AFL, Badminton, Basketball,
Cross Country, Dance, Duathlon, Gymnastics, Netball, Newcombe Ball, Oz Tag, Rugby, Soccer, Swimming and Volleyball.
Students are encouraged to pursue their chosen sport through to regional, State and even National levels.
