We have four separate Preschool Centres all located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Having four small centres helps the children to develop a sense of belonging as they make the transition from the more intimate setting of home and family to the bigger social world of the Preschool. The smaller numbers at each centre also help to establish closer connections between children, educators and families and to build a sense of community.

Each centre has its own unique character, and educators and families have created nviting, peaceful and aesthetically pleasing spaces for play and learning.

The centres exceed the NSW Department of Community Services Regulations for educator to child ratios. This provides for more in-depth interactions between children and educators and supports the Practice of Relationships. Enriching the curriculum and providing additional support are our Jewish Studies Coordinator, Hebrew teacher and team of support educators who assist with the inclusion of our children with additional needs and rights.

A common objective of all the educators and families at the Moriah and Mount Zion Early Learning Centres is to continue to work together to provide an outdoor environment in each centre where the children, educators and families can experience the wonder and beauty of nature firsthand. This is a work in progress.
