Complete and submit the Moriah Application form. You will be contacted a year prior to entering, to commence the enrolment process. 02. Can I visit a Centre before I submit an application form? Yes. Please email email@example.com to enquire about a tour, or book online. Child Care Subsidy 01. What is the Child Care Subsidy? The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Government means-tested subsidy on school fees provided to families with children who attend Long Day Care. 02. Am I able to claim the Child Care Subsidy if I enrol? Yes, we are a registered childcare provider which means that eligible families can claim the Government subsidy relating to your childcare if you enrol in the Long Day Care option. 03. How do I apply for the Child Care subsidy? Visit: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/child-care-subsidy/how-claim Important information is required to assist with making your claim: • MyGov and Centrelink online account or access to speak over the phone or in person at a Centrelink office • Claimant and child CRN (customer reference number) • Family income and activity details • Supporting personal documents Fees 01. What are the fees? Click to download our current schedule of fees for: Early Learning Years K-12 There is a $150 administration fee when you submit an application form. 02. How are the fees charged? At time of enrolment, we provide you with a Direct Debit form (Debit Success). You can select to pay your fees by credit card or direct debit. The billing is conducted every fortnight in arrears. 03. Do we pay for Public Holidays and Jewish Holidays? No. Fees are not charged for pupil-free days, public holidays and Jewish holidays. 04. Advance Fee? The $2000 Advance Fee that is referenced in our Enrolment Policy has been reduced to $1000 for families enrolling a child for 2021, in consideration of the financial impact of Covid-19. On acceptance of offer, we require an Advance fee of $1000 to secure the place offered. This fee will be deducted in full, from the first tuition fee invoice. This Advance fee is non-refundable nor transferable should you cancel the place. 05. What are the late collection fees? Late fees will be charged if your child is picked up after the advertised closing time of the Centre. The late fee is a flat fee of $20 and then $1 for each minute that your child remains after closing. The Child Care Subsidy cannot be claimed for this late fee, as it pertains to costs incurred outside of operational hours. 06. Will I be charged if we go on holiday? Yes. Fees cannot be suspended if you elect not to send your child for any reason. 07. What food is included? Afternoon tea is provided. Children bring their own morning tea and lunch. 08. What specialist programs are included? Hebrew, Jewish Studies, Music, Gross Motor Development, Sustainability and Environment. New Enrolments 01. What are the enrolment options? Essentially, we have two enrolment options, Long Day Care and Preschool. Both offer the same educational programs. Is there a payment required to confirm an enrolment? On acceptance of offer, we require an Advance Fee of $1000, which secures the place offered. How long do I have to decide if I would like to accept a place? From the date of offer, you will have 14 days to complete and return the required paperwork. 04. What will I need to provide in order to secure my enrolment? To accept the Offer, you are required to return the following: • Acceptance of Offer form inclusive of the Advance Fee • Direct Debit Request Form • Early Learning Centres Enrolment Form (the Enrolment Form is a specific requirement for the Early Learning Centres and requires additional information such as Emergency Contact details, Medical Details etc) • Copy of your child’s birth certificate • Copy of your child’s Immunisation record • Personal identification of nominated Emergency Contacts e.g. Photo ID, drivers licence, passport 05. Is there a minimum number of days required for enrolment? Two year old (Queens Park Early Learning Centre, Shya Redelman Early Learning Centre – Glenayr Ave., and Mount Zion Rabinovitch Kindergarten): two days. Three to five year old: three days. 06. At what age is my child eligible to attend an Early Learning Centre? A child must turn three years of age before 30 April in the year of commencement at the Early Learning Centres. The Queens Park Early Learning Centre, Shya Redelman Early Learning Centre –Glenayr Ave and Mount Zion Rabinovitch Kindergarten will enrol children from the age of two. If your child turns two after January, we will accept the enrolment if places are available, up to and until the end of April. 07. Can I choose which Early Learning Centre I would like my child to attend? As part of the enrolment process, you will have the opportunity to complete the Campus Preference Survey. In the Campus Preference Survey you can select your campus of choice. Campus allocations will be determined in accordance with our Enrolment Policy. 08. Applications received after first round of offers If Applications and/or the Campus Preference Survey are received after the first round of offers are made, they will be placed on a waitlist and will be processed at the conclusion of the first-round offers.
