Hanni Chalmers OAM visits our Shya Redelman Early Learning Centre

This is where it all began!

Moriah College officially opened its doors on 14 February 1943, as the North Bondi Hebrew Day School and Kindergarten – where our Early Learning Centre Shya Redelman Campus stands today.
 
To celebrate 80 years of Moriah College, our ELC students at that campus enjoyed a special visit from Hanni Chalmers OAM, who was one of the children in that first Moriah class in 1943!

It was an honour and privilege to have Hanni (who was accompanied by her husband, Paul) speak to our students about her experience at Moriah, as we all reflected on 80 wonderful years. Click here to hear from Hanni and to see some of the ELC celebrations, as led by Uncle Velvel.
