The Hub

The Hub is a kosher community-focused kitchen where we can all meet, eat, and connect. With its beautifully designed dining area, The Hub is a warm and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

We offer an extensive seasonal menu to keep Primary and High School students energised and focused throughout the day. Featuring a variety of options—from hearty sandwiches and wholesome salads to hot meals and sweet treats—everything is freshly prepared, ensuring it's not only tasty but also packed with nutrients. We prioritise safety and are a nut and sesame aware café. All our food is Kosher, supervised by Community Kashrut, and we provide a range of dairy-based options for a balanced diet.

A Sustainable Kitchen

To reduce food waste and lower our environmental impact, in 2023, Moriah became the first school in Australia to trial an organics processor that turns food waste into usable soil within 24 hours. We've reduced our school's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by more than 87 percent and use the resulting soil in our gardens, where we grow fresh herbs for The Hub. This closed-loop system benefits our entire community and provides an opportunity for volunteers and students to be involved in a spot of gardening. We also use compostable and recyclable packaging to minimise single-use plastics.
