Each day, I feel the privilege of having been part of Moriah's past and now being part of its present while helping to shape its future. It is an honour to guide the next generation as they forge their own paths, building on the legacy we hold dear.

Having walked the hallways as a student, every hallway and classroom echoes with memories of my own school journey. It is such a privilege to help the next generation navigate their own journeys, inspire them just as I was inspired, and give back to a community that shaped me.

Growing up, Moriah was home to me. It’s extremely rewarding to wake up every day and work to foster that feeling for the next generation of young Jewish leaders.

It’s about an ongoing legacy and contribution where I can use my skills, knowledge and experience to have a meaningful impact on students that will inspire them throughout their lives to be active citizens for the planet, as encompassed in the beautiful Jewish philosophy of Tikun Olam.

Attending Moriah College deeply influenced my values and identity, fostering a lasting connection to my heritage. This experience inspired me to return and join the EDJE team, where I’m excited to contribute to Moriah’s vibrant Jewish life and help guide students on their own meaningful journeys.

When I went to Moriah the school felt like quite a different place to today. We had computer rooms back then, there was no such thing as dance class and our principle was different too. Over the years, I have had the privilege of seeing the Moriah identity grow and change with the way of the world and I have loved my time as both a student and staff member at Moriah.
After graduating in 2019, I was lucky to continue my Moriah journey as a maintenance staff member. This job has helped me learn the importance of hard work and given me a sense of purpose. I love assessing hazards in the school that I may rectify to make the school a safe place for all. I feel accomplished when I work with teachers to make the classrooms and events effective spaces for learning.
One of the ways that I feel connected to the community is by seeing the friendly faces at Go With The Flow every day. I hope to brighten the day and support parents’ morning routines so that the students start their days with joy. There are so many important staff and jobs that go into making over 1000 kids more resilient and contributing members of society and it brings me great joy to make their jobs a little easier.
I feel blessed to be part of the Moriah family, and have amazing colleagues who I now call friends, and feel a part of the Moriah identity.
