The Enrolment Process: Years K-12
To help guide you along your enrolment journey, please follow the steps below.
STEP 1 - APPLICATION
Complete the Enrolment Application Form and submit the form along with the required supporting documentation and payment of the Application Fee. You will receive an email confirming that we have received your application form, along with the application fee receipt.
STEP 2 - VISIT OUR SCHOOL
Families are invited to experience Moriah in action throughout the year. Please visit our Events & Tours page on our website to book in for an upcoming tour.
STEP 3 -WAIT LIST
Applications for enrolment are processed in order of date of receipt of the accurately completed Application for Enrolment form and payment of the Administration Fee.
If a wait list exists (where there are more applications for enrolment in a year than there are vacancies), then the College will give priority to applicants based on sibling status, children of alumni, Mount Sinai families (for Year 7 enrolments) and families have the option of paying a Priority of Offer Commitment Deposit.
STEP 4 - INTERVIEW
The enrolment interview process usually commences 12 months prior to your child’s enrolment date. If a place is available within the cohort requested, you and your child will be invited to attend an interview with the relevant Head of school and / or Director of Enrolments & Engagement. If a place is not available at that time, your child’s application will remain on the wait list and you will be contacted if a place becomes available.
STEP 5 - OFFER A PLACE
Upon successful completion of an enrolment interview and provided that the College can meet the needs of the student, you will receive an offer for a place at the College. To secure your child’s place, you will need to accept the offer within 14 days of receipt. Before confirming your enrolment offer, please confirm that you have read the Enrolment Policy.
STEP 6 - WELCOME TO MORIAH COLLEGE
Once you have completed and returned the Confirmation of Enrolment Form, your child will be confirmed to enrol into the relevant year group.
Years K and 7: you will be invited to a Parent Information session prior to your child commencing at Moriah. Student onboarding will take place for every student, regardless of entry level.
