Meet Our New Communications Captain and SRC Captain

Zac Moses - Communications Captain

My name is Zac Moses and I am the newly elected Communications Captain for 2018/19. As I begin my final year of school, I look forward to giving back to the students and the school, which has always been a positive influence in my life. My overarching goal for leadership is to better the lives of the students of Moriah College. I aim to increase the “connectedness” between years and encourage both Jewish and school pride. By achieving many small goals over the next year, I want to build an environment where everyone’s opinion is heard and valued. My role in creating a platform where students can communicate with the leadership body is just the start of what I wish to accomplish, as I strive to enrich the lives of all members of the College. In the remainder of my time at Moriah, I am extremely excited to give back to the community that has given me so much. 

Sarah Blau - SRC Captain

 As the newly elected SRC Captain, I feel honoured and excited about the year ahead. As I embark on my final school year, I reflect on both the positive and challenging experiences I have had throughout my decade at Moriah. As the SRC Captain, my focus is on creating new opportunities for the junior members of the College, our future generation. Being juniors in high school is never easy and is something I feel passionate about improving. I have a strong desire to create a safe environment of inclusion, where all students feel comfortable to express themselves. I look forward to helping to provide a smooth transition from primary school to high school for the new year 7 students through a successful orientation camp, as well as several other initiatives which are already underway. As the SRC Captain, I am excited and driven to ultimately be the voice of the students.
