Meet Our New Herzl and Hillel House Captains

Chad Bobrow - Herzl Captain

Chad Bobrow

As the newly elected Herzl Captain, I am excited to begin my leadership role at Moriah College. My main responsibility and priority is to look after and manage the wellbeing of each Herzl student. It is also a goal of mine to keep up the amazing house spirit that Herzl has, and to continue being dominant in all inter-house events! I would also like to give opportunities for the senior students of Herzl to become closer and more involved with the younger students; to give advice, establish a tight-knit house, and build upon the feeling of a safe and enjoyable environment at school. I look forward to working with the leadership team over the course of the year and getting to know all of the Herzl students.

Fun Fact: I lived in Melbourne for eight years, and the school that I went to (Bialik College) had a Herzl house… but, unfortunately, I was in a different one.

Sabrina Zulman - Hillel House Captain

Being a part of the Hillel house since Year K has been a fundamental element of my Moriah journey. From singing house chants in swimming and athletic carnivals amongst a sea of red, or participating in Drama and Music Fest with fellow Hillelians, I have always felt very much a part of a special group. It is a privilege to serve as the new Hillel House Captain and have the ability to encourage younger students to participate in all the events that have shaped my Moriah experience. During my term as captain, I hope to strengthen the bonds of our junior and senior members of Hillel as well as creating more opportunities for the student body to thrive on. It is my hope that I can bring some of my enthusiasm and zest to Hillel and in turn see the house go from strength to strength. I also wish to invigorate the bond of fellowship and compassion within Hillel, encouraging students to include those who may sometimes feel excluded and to act with kindness and respect to students who may be struggling to find their place within Moriah. I am looking forward to the year ahead and am very excited to lead and encourage an amazing house!
